Hello

With a passion for storytelling and a heart for the LGBTQ+ community Jonathan aims to break the mold and create stories centered around queer characters and themes. As a Writer/Producer, he frequently works alongside his producing partner, Sabrina Cooper of Black Castle Productions, with whom they share a passion for combining unconventional stories with high-concept storytelling. 

My Story

Born and raised in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago, Jonathan holds a BA in Film/Video Production from Columbia College Chicago, an Associate in Entertainment Marketing and Promotion, and a MFA in Screenwriting from the American Film Institute.

Using his unique expertise and background, Jonathan's goal is to create stories and content that reach audiences from the heart. Whether it's a short 60-second spot or a feature film, it is his personal goal to create an emotional experience for the viewer to create unique memorable content.

With the privilege of being mentored by Hollywood greats such as John Davis (Predator, Jungle Cruise), Tom Sternberg (Apocalypse Now, The Talented Mr. Ripley), Anna Thomas (Frida), and Tom Rickman (The Coal Miner's Daughter), Jonathan uses his deep knowledge and expertise of the film industry to help mold and shape unique stories from pre-production to post.
